Consultant in Dermatology

Applications are invited to apply for the following post in Dermatology at the Churchill Hospital, Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (OUH) and Royal Berkshire Hospital (RBH), Reading. The posts are based at the Department of Dermatology, Churchill Hospital, Oxford.

  • 1 full-time Consultant Dermatologist with an interest in patch-testing, skin cancer, vulval & general dermatology to join our experienced team in Oxford (5PA) and Reading (5PA).

This is a new post and an exciting development creating a new alliance of skin care across Oxfordshire & Berkshire. Located within the Thames Valley, Oxford’s service is a recognised centre of excellence with the region having one of the highest incidences of skin cancer in the UK. We have state of the art surgical, diagnostic and laboratory facilities in a purpose built unit with plans for additional investment in the estate to cope with increasing demand. We have excellent on-site links with plastic surgery and oncology with a centralised head and neck skin cancer service.

The successful applicant will support and lead on the current delivery of the busy and innovative Dermatology services at the Royal Berkshire Hospital whilst contributing to the development of skin care provision in the locality. We are keen to recruit colleagues who will relish the opportunity of working and teaching in this inspirational environment and relishes the challenge of developing services across the region.

Salary: £77,913 to £105,042 per annum
