A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly experienced individual to work within the Research & Development (R&D) Governance team at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, one of the most research-active university hospital trusts in the UK. Working closely with colleagues within the Joint Research Office, an established partnership between the Trust and the University of Oxford, the Deputy Head of R&D Governance will assist in ensuring that the Trust is compliant with all relevant research governance legislation and guidance relating to the conduct of clinical trials and research studies, in its role as research sponsor and host organisation.

The successful candidate will have experience as a senior manager in a regulated operational healthcare environment, with experience of developing processes and procedures to deliver efficiencies across a complex operational structure, as well as knowledge and understanding of the key regulations for clinical research.
