Delivering ICT services to the NHS in Oxfordshire

Information Management and Technology Services (IM&T Services) provide support to Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust users as well as to a number of other Health organisations across Oxfordshire. This involves supporting over 10,000 workstations and printers, circa 11,000 staff users of systems, and nearly 800 servers (over 75% virtual). During 2016, IM&T Services responded to 132,000 calls and were involved in multiple projects.

Salary Scale: Band 5, (£22,128 - £28,746)
Hours: 37.5 hours

A new opportunity has arisen for a self-motivated team member to develop within our maturing EPR Development team, providing systems maintenance and advanced configuration management support for the Trust’s Electronic Patient Record Service solution, Cerner Millennium.

Good communication skills, an analytical approach to configuration management, a methodical approach to change control and document maintenance and the ability to develop and follow procedures are essential. You will be required to take a technical lead in transforming user requests into optimal build change definitions, and be instrumental in the development of less experienced staff. We are looking for a well organised individual who has an eye for detail and can work under pressure.
