Information Management and Technology Services (IM&T Services) provide support to Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust users as well as to a number of other Health organisations across Oxfordshire. This involves supporting over 10,000 workstations and printers, circa 11,000 staff users of systems, and nearly 800 servers (over 75% virtual). During 2016, IM&T Services responded to 132,000 calls and were involved in multiple projects.

Salary Scale: Band 6 (£26,565 - £35,577) depending on qualifications and experience
Hours: 37.50 per week

The post holder will be involved in the design and delivery of an effective training programme for Trust staff to support the continuing implementation and enhancement of the Cerner Millennium Electronic Patient Record (EPR) at the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and at appropriate related customer organisations.

The OUH Global Digital Exemplar Programme will take the Trust from being one of the most digitally advanced Trusts in the UK to one of the most digitally advanced Trusts in the world over the next two years. The Trust will be an exemplar to other Trusts and assist in their journey to digitally enable the best clinical models for patient safety and outcomes while freeing staff time to care.

Within IM&T Services you will be part of a wider team that supports and provides application support, training and testing for the Oxford University NHS Foundation Trust and additional customer organisations. You will establish the identification of training needs, the preparation of suitable training products, including hands on classroom training and electronic learning material, to ensure a wide variety of staff successfully complete the training elements required to undertake their roles and responsibilities within the EPR Programme.

The post holder will also work collaboratively with colleagues in the Trust to create effective training arrangements. Close cooperation will be necessary with other teams such as EPR Projects; EPR Analysis, Informatics & Maintenance; Application Support; Learning and Development, Divisional Directorates within the Trust and externally, in order to ensure efficient use of resources and prioritization of training programmes.
