An exciting opportunity has arisen for a new post at the Oxford Breast Imaging Centre based at the Churchill Hospital, Oxford. We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated and dynamic individual for the role of Clinical Nurse Specialist within Breast Screening.

The Oxfordshire Breast Screening Service is part of the NHS Breast Screening Programme and is hosted by Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The service serves an eligible screening population of around 103,000 women. You will be part of a team including radiologists, advanced practitioners, mammographers and radiology assistants.

The role includes; supporting women recalled for assessment, support through to diagnosis, preparing for possibilities of cancer, delivering benign results and health promotion.

Experience in breast care, oncology or in a surgical setting is desirable. You must have excellent communication skill and be sensitive to the needs of patients and their families.
