Consultant in Gynaecological Oncology (2 posts)

Applications are invited for the position of Consultant Gynaecological Oncologist (two posts – one is new and one is a replacement) at the Department of Gynaecological Oncology, based at the Churchill Hospital, Oxford Gynaecological Cancer Centre. The positions are funded by the NHS. The post-holders will be in a position to make a substantial contribution to shaping service provision strategies in Gynaecological Oncology. The successful candidates will have an opportunity to advance surgical innovation in Gynaecological Oncology to improve patient healthcare.

The Gynaecological Oncology service is based in the Cancer Hospital at the Churchill site of the Oxford University Hospitals, and is the Regional Service for the Thames Valley, covering a population of nearly two million. The successful candidates will join a dynamic team of four subspecialty-trained Gynaecological Oncologists in the department and will benefit from access to state-of-the art theatre facilities on site. The department is part of a successful and strong multidisciplinary team who together provide a Regional level service.
