Inpatient Unit Physiotherapist
Elective Inpatient Orthopaedics
37.5 hours per week

An opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 Physiotherapist with previous Orthopaedic / Musculoskeletal experience to join our dynamic, well established team.

This is an Elective Orthopaedic, Bone Infection / Rheumatology Rotational post and we are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated physiotherapist who wishes to further develop their skills in these specialist areas.

During these rotations your role will involve:

Managing an interesting and varied caseload of both routine and complex Orthopaedic In patients

Treatment of Rheumatology Inpatients and Rheumatology Clinic patients as required

Inpatient rehabilitation of patients on one of the country’s only dedicated specialist Bone Infection Units.

The physiotherapy department has a large team of specialist musculoskeletal / orthopaedic physiotherapists with active in-service training programmes and continued professional development is encouraged and viewed as integral to providing a quality service for patients.
You will be fully supported by senior staff and there is close multidisciplinary working.

We have a world class reputation for research and the Physiotherapy Research Department facilitates evidence based practice and clinical effectiveness.

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
