We are seeking to appoint a Pathway Access officer Band 3 / 4 (pending previous experience) – to join our Spinal waiting list team based at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre in Oxford. The post involves dealing with telephone queries, dealing with face to face queries, ensuring the smooth running of the department, monitoring the patient pathway and providing full administrative support to Consultants and their teams. This includes managing and prioritising patients within the pathway and ensuring that patients are fully worked up for theatre. The post holder will be required to use multiple electronic systems.

Knowledge of the Trust's Electronic Patient Record System (EPR) and previous waiting list management would be an advantage but full training will be given. The ideal candidate will have excellent administration skills be able to communicate at all levels and have strong organisational skills and have the ability to work on their own initiative as well as being a team member.   If you are self-motivated and keen to join our team then we would like to hear from you.
