Applications are invited for the post of Consultant in Orthodontics, based at the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and at the Great Western Hospital, NHS Foundation Trust, Swindon. This is a new, substantive post and is a 6.0 PA job plan.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to deliver high quality specialist secondary and tertiary care orthodontics at both centres, working closely with an already linked OMFS post between the two hospitals. The successful candidate will be expected to actively participate in the supervision and training of a Specialist Registrar and a post CCST. There are also opportunities to work closely with other Consultant colleagues, including Oral and Maxillofacial surgeons, Orthodontists and Restorative colleagues in the provision of treatment for complex malocclusions and severe skeletal discrepancies. The successful candidate will be joining a well-established OMFS network between Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Oxfordshire and Wiltshire.
