Paediatric Staff Nurse

Band 5 Full Time/Part time hours available.

Children’s ward, Horton Hospital, Banbury.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Nurse to join our friendly and supportive team.

The role requires working in our busy 14 bedded unit caring for children predominantly aged between 0-16 years of age, with medical and orthopaedic conditions. We also carry out Day Surgery lists and provide supportive oncology care for our local families.

You will need to be organised with effective communication skills and keen to learn and develop within your role. You will understand the importance of patient care and be able to demonstrate an ability in the assessment, planning, provision and evaluation of care of sick children and be able to make effective decisions in partnership with children, families & the multi-disciplinary team.
