We offer a varied working environment with multiple skills to be gained within Day Surgery/23 hour stay, infusions/transfusions for multiple specialties including IBD, Cardiology, Gastroenterology and many more.

The Horton Day Case Unit Banbury, is a rapidly expanding unit. We are open as a Day Treatment Unit incorporating Day Surgery and other treatments suitable for daily admissions, such as infusions for irritable bowel disorders and blood transfusions. We also run multiple outpatient clinics.

We are actively recruiting for a Band 5 Registered General Nurses, either full or part time. Weekly hours can be negotiable to fit with the unit.

We are currently open between the hours of 07.30 and 20.30, Monday – Friday, although future plans will include weekend work and an extension to our opening hours to include night shifts.  We are currently planning to adapt the dept to accommodate surgical patients for a 23 hour stay.

Standard shift times are 9.5 hours per day.
