Emergency Nurse Practitioner

We are looking for emergency nurse practitioners Band 6 level interested in joining the senior team based within the Emergency Department at the Horton General Hospital.

We aim to deliver a patient centered style of practice that promotes and reflects the values and beliefs of a dedicated Emergency Nurse Practitioner service The ENP service is completely integrated with front door emergency teams at both the Horton and John Radcliffe EDs. We are able to provide unique opportunities in development of advanced practitioner skills within both acute and minor emergency care models at masters level (Progression to B7 level dependent on competency and masters accreditation)

Key role:
• To provide a quality minor injury/illness service to patients attending the Emergency Department.
• Assist in the monitoring and development of standards in the delivery of a minor injury/illness service.
• Assist in the development of research based nursing practice within the Emergency Department, through the implementation of evidence-based practice.
• To act as advisor in regards to safeguarding concerns and support / adhere to trust policy


The current vacancy has Full Time & Part Time Hours.
