Staff Nurse Band 5  - £22,128 - £28,746 per annum (plus supplements if required to work unsocial hours or weekends)


We are looking to enhance our current dedicated team of nursing staff within Acute General Medicine. We are seeking motivated Band 5 nurses with excellent interpersonal skills who have a passion and commitment to deliver outstanding patient care for the local community and want to work as part of an enthusiastic team.  

 

The Horton hospital Is a friendly hospital within the Banbury community with great local amenities , plus the availability of excellent training and development opportunities from being part of the larger trust, Oxford University hospitals NHS foundation trust.

 

 We provide an excellent working environment having built up a reputation for delivering excellent, compassionate care to our patients. We offer our staff mentorship and educational support from the registered nursing foundation programme within the 1st year. On completion of the programme & after 2 years working for the Trust, you will receive an incremental award. We currently have vacancies on the medical wards and within the Rowan Ambulatory Acute Unit. There may also be an opportunity to provide a rotational post between the wards and RAU

There are 2 medical wards which care for patients with a wide range of medical conditions providing an excellent foundation for a positive learning environment

 Rowan Ambulatory unit provides assessment, diagnosis and treatment on an ambulatory basis following referrals from both primary and secondary care. The service prevents hospital admission and facilitates the safe transfer of care from hospital to home. The working hours within the unit are Monday - Friday
