Community Team Leader for City - Blenheim Team

Salary - Band 7

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the maternity service at Oxford University Hospital’s NHS Foundation Trust for an exceptional, committed and motivated midwife for the Community Team Leader post for the Blenheim Team covering Oxford city. The individual will work closely with the Senior Midwifery Manager and Consultant Midwife for community services to ensure excellent care is provided to the women and their families.

The individual must have a strong commitment to midwifery practice, safety and have excellent organisational and leadership skills. The successful candidate will provide clinical leadership ensuring the team philosophy which promotes and reflects optimal standards of care for pregnant women and their families.

The Blenheim City team provides comprehensive antenatal and postpartum services and support to approximately 1120 women and their families. The team supports and provides intrapartum care in the alongside Midwifery Led Unit, The Spires, in the Women’s Centre.
