We are looking to enhance our current dedicated team of nursing staff within Acute General Medicine. We are seeking motivated Band 5 nurses with excellent interpersonal skills who have a passion and commitment to deliver outstanding patient care for the local community and want to work as part of an enthusiastic team.

The Horton hospital Is a friendly hospital within the Banbury community with great local amenities and has excellent training and development opportunities from being part of the larger trust, Oxford University hospitals NHS foundation trust.

We provide an excellent working environment offering our staff mentorship and educational support from the registered nursing foundation programme within the 1st year. We currently have vacancies on the medical wards and within the Rowan Ambulatory Acute Unit. There may also be an opportunity to provide a rotational post between the wards and RAU.

Rowan Ambulatory unit provides assessment, diagnosis and treatment on an ambulatory basis following referrals from both primary and secondary care. The service prevents hospital admission and facilitates the safe transfer of care from hospital to home. The working hours within the unit are Monday - Friday
