As part of the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, the Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Orthodontics & Restorative Dentistry provides a comprehensive service, covering all aspects of Head and Neck surgery/treatment. This includes the treatment of both Oncology and Trauma patients, as well patients suffering with head and facial deformities, speech difficulties and severe malocclusion.

 

We are looking for a Band 5 Technician, who will become an essential part of the laboratory team and provide close technical support to Clinicians within the Department. Our aim in the laboratory is to provide a professional and first class service to all of our patients. Other duties will involve participation in departmental audit activities.

 

We are looking for someone with experience of fabrication of orthodontic appliances such as twin blocks, quadhelixs and Hawley retainers.
