Band 6 Rotational Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist


An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and suitably experienced Physiotherapist to join our dynamic team at Oxford Universities Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. 

The successful applicant will take part in our very popular Musculoskeletal specific Band 6 rotational scheme which involves 8 month rotations in the following areas:

Ø  Orthopaedic Inpatients – Nuffield Orthopaedic Hospital

Ø  MSK/ Orthopaedic Outpatients – Nuffield Orthopaedic Hospital

Ø  MSK Paediatrics – Nuffield orthopaedics Hospital/ John Radcliffe Hospital

Ø  Hands And Plastics – John Radcliffe Hospital

Ø  Trauma outpatients – John Radcliffe Hospital

Ø  Trauma Inpatients - John Radcliffe Hospital

Ø  Musculoskeletal Outpatients (GP, trauma and orthopaedics) – Horton Hospital, Banbury And Brackley Physiotherapy Department

Ø  Women’s and Men’s Health –  Women’s Centre, John Radcliffe Hospital


The successful applicant will gain experience of treating a wide variety of clinical conditions, and will also develop their managerial skills by appraisal and supervision of Band 5 staff and students.  They must have clinical expertise and experience in assessing and treating patients with musculoskeletal conditions and be committed to teamwork and patient centered care.

We are committed to CPD and will support your development in this role by providing a regular in service training programme alongside a directed training package for each rotation, quarterly rotational specific training as well as a mentorship programme along a senior staff member in the MSK field to support your development.
