As a Business Apprentice you will have an exciting opportunity to join departments such as Human Resources, Legal Services and Outpatient Administration amongst others.

As a trainee administrator you will be based in a hospital environment and be an integral part of the team.

We are looking for committed and enthusiastic individuals who are ready to take on the challenge of working with us as an apprentice. Our new apprentices will need to have good communication skills and be keen to develop professionally and personally.

We offer the chance to take on real responsibility, learn from experienced staff and make the most of every opportunity to fulfil your ambition.

Apprenticeships last 13 months and training leads to a full Level 2 qualification – with some apprentices having the opportunity to progress right through to degree level. Joining our apprenticeship programme will help you network with other young apprentices and lay the foundations for professional contacts to develop your career.

  • Learn how to undertake efficient administration and clerical duties
  • Develop IT skills including working with bespoke programmes
  • Learn how to deal with sensitive and confidential information
  • Learn to deal with patients in a face-to-face environment and deliver a compassionate service
  • Work with other administrative staff across the hospitals
  • Complete a Business Administration Level 2 Diploma
  • Complete Functional Skills if required
