HR Consultant – Surgery and Oncology Division  - Band 7 - PART TIME OR FULL TIME.

The Surgery and Oncology Division has an exciting permanent opportunity to join the well-established Divisional HR Team, working as an HR Consultant.


Our Division looks after nearly 3000 staff covering a broad range of patient services including surgery, oncology and maternity


This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic and HR team focused on continuous improvement of HR services, with the chance to work closely with some of the most experienced managers in the Trust.


You’ll be providing HR support on a range of operational and sometimes strategic HR issues. The 

role is varied and interesting with an emphasis on project work to develop the HR service.


Employee engagement is a key part of our HR strategy you’ll be involved in running focus groups with our employees called ‘Listening Into Action’ and delivering training to support our managers improve their staff’s engagement.


You’ll be a great communicator with knowledge of employee relations and employment. We are looking for a key member of our outgoing and friendly team.  You’ll be committed to developing excellent relationships with managers and working as part of a close team.

Previous experience working at a similar level is essential


This role will be predominantly based at the Churchill site with travel required between other hospitals sites based in Oxford and Banbury.

Deadline for applications is 31st October.  Initial telephone interviews are planned for the week commencing 5th November.  Interviews at the Churchill are planned for 12th November or alternative date that suits you.
