Renal and Transplant Unit

Renal and Transplant Elective Access Assistant
Band 3 Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)

The Renal Directorate includes Renal Medicine and Transplant services based on the Churchill Hospital site. The Renal Medicine and Transplant CDUs provide a specialist service for the surrounding counties and have Network Units in Milton Keynes, High Wycombe, Swindon, Stoke Mandeville and Banbury. The Transplant CDU provides Kidney transplantation for six counties and includes the Transplant Immunology Laboratory. The Transplant CDU also provides Pancreas, Islet and Small Bowel transplantation services.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated person to join our Elective Access team in the Renal and Transplant service at the Churchill Hospital. The post holder will be responsible for providing a full administration and taking responsibility for managing the whole patient pathway in line with the Elective Access policy.

Self-motivation, multi-tasking ability and flexibility are essential.

The core hours for the Renal and Transplant department are Monday to Friday, 08:00-17:30
