Churchill Theatres
Band 5, Anaesthetics and Recovery - Nurses and ODP’s

We currently have opportunities for Band 5 Anaesthetics and Recovery, Nurses and ODP’s to join our caring and dynamic team.

Churchill Hospital is a specialist centre for cancer and transplant services.
Our ten theatre suite specialises in urology, hepatobiliary, endocrine, gastrointestinal, breast and gynaecology oncology, plastic, oral maxillofacial surgery, kidney, pancreas and small bowel transplantation.

Anaesthetics and Recovery staff also provide additional satellite cover such as ECT, Radiology, Endoscopy and Specialist Urology Services such as HIFU and Brachytherapy. We also cover our 4 bedded Churchill Overnight Recovery Unit which provides Level 2 care for post elective surgery patients.

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to be part of our Churchill Theatre team. This department provides 24-hour emergency cover; therefore there will be shift work, night duty, weekend shifts and an on-call commitment.

Excellent communication skills and a flexible approach are essential as an on-call commitment is required for this post as well as participation in programmes of additional surgical activity.
You will have experience of working in anaesthetics and recovery and have proven clinical abilities.
