Churchill Intensive Care Unit

 

Band 3 £17,787  - £20,228 ( rising to £18,813 - £20, 795 from April 2019)

 

 37.5 hours/week Monday – Friday 07:30 – 15:30

Do you have hotel services/ hospitality experience?

 

The role of the Senior Housekeeper is to work as an integral part of the team, it demands an attention to detail and excellent organizational and communication skills are essential.

 

The Churchill Intensive Care unit is a eight bedded unit located in the Cancer and Haematology Centre on the Churchill site, Oxford  where  we care for a wide range of patients with complex medical and surgical problems, accepting emergency and elective admissions.

 

Main responsibilities of the role will include

·         Assisting the Ward Sister in ensuring the effective delivery of services including cleaning, catering, procurement, estates and clinical engineering.

·         Coordinating these services to ensure the smooth running of the department

·         Working alongside clinical staff to improve patient flow through the unit.

·         Financial responsibilities to include procurement and stores management

·         Maintaining the clinical environment , adhering to policy & guidelines to meet quality standards

·         Communicating with and supporting families & relatives

 

Experience in a similar/ hospitality role is desirable but not essential
