The Oxford AHSN is looking to appoint a Health Economist / Methodologist for the key Strategic & Industry Partnerships Programme. The post holder will join the busy Strategic and Industry Partnerships team working with the AHSN's partners in the NHS, the universities and the life sciences industries taking forward over 30 projects aimed to support delivery of the AHSN's Mission to improve the health and prosperity of the Oxford Region through rapid clinical innovation adoption. The development of collaborations and partnerships is a key objective for the team, bringing the skills and resources of the region together.


The post holder will have a strong background in health economics, data analysis and use of Excel, be a good team player and be able to work flexibly and willing to be particularly hands on as a part of this busy team.  The post holder must be educated to MSc level or equivalent in Health Economics or equivalent research, industrial or commercial experience in health economics.


The post holder will be able to engage with partners and stakeholders from across the AHSN; these will include clinicians, NHS Trust executives, academics and researchers and industry (life sciences and diagnostics), in addition to the CCGs, primary care, and patients and service users.
