The Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust requires a clinically excellent Cardiac Physiologist to join one of the largest NHS teaching trusts in the country. The Trust comprises of four hospitals, three in Oxford and one in Banbury and the Cardiac Physiology department works across all four sites.

We are looking for a qualified Cardiac Physiologist with extensive clinical knowledge within the field of Cardiac Rhythm Management. Candidates must be able to demonstrate post graduate level of working via a continuous development portfolio and evidence of leadership, mentorship and teaching. Experience of participation in or leading research would be a distinct advantage.

The successful post holder will join a large team of experienced and dynamic Cardiac Physiologists, Arrhythmia and ICD Nurse Practitioners. The department encourages active involvement with professional bodies, and has regular representation at council level with SCST, BHRS and BCIS. We are a practical assessment centre for BSE, and also participate in the STP OSFA assessments for the National School for Healthcare Science. Professional development is encouraged at all levels.

We would suggest suitable candidates visit the department for a greater understanding of the post.
