The Cardiothoracic Directorate at the John Radcliffe Hospital is one of the major providers of care within the South East Region. We are an extremely busy, friendly and expanding department.

We are looking for one part time (26 hours per week) Pulmonary Hypertension Service Administrator/ MDT Co-ordinator to join this dynamic team. The post holder will provide all administrative support to the PH service. This will include day-to-day organisation of systems to ensure the smooth running of the service, including clinic appointment bookings, MDT coordination, and secretarial services to the PH team. The post holder will facilitate good communication and liaison with patients and their families, colleagues within the Trust and across other organizations, particularly supporting collaboration with colleagues at Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The post-holder will particularly be responsible for the organisation of team meetings which are held most weeks. The post holder will also be responsible for developing and maintaining databases for patient care, including inputting data and generating reports relating to team activity.

Applicants will be customer focused, flexible, motivated and pro-active with the ability to support the immediate team and wider directorate. This post will be both very challenging and interesting and attention to detail is required.

Personal and team development is encouraged and supported and the post holder will be motivated, reliable and flexible. NHS experience is desired, but not essential as full training will be given.

This post reports to the Administration Manager.
