The Cardiology Directorate at the John Radcliffe Hospital is one of the major providers of care within the South East Region. We are an extremely busy, friendly and currently expanding department.

We are looking for 1 part time (18.45 hours per week) Ward Clerk to join this dynamic team, supporting patients and colleagues across the Directorate. The working hours are Monday’s, Wednesday’s and Friday’s 12pm to 6.30pm. These hours are negotiable.

The Ward Clerk will be supporting patients, nursing staff and the ward sister on the Cardiothoracic Critical Care Unit (CTCCU) with all administration duties.

Applicants will be customer focused, flexible, motivated and pro-active with the ability to support the immediate team and wider directorate. This post will be both very challenging and interesting and attention to detail is required.

Personal and team development is encouraged and supported and the post holders will be motivated, reliable and flexible. NHS experience is desired, but not essential as full training will be given.

This post reports to the department Senior Ward Administrator\Ward Sister.
