The Cardiology department at the John Radcliffe Hospital is one of the major providers of care within the South East Region. We are an extremely busy, friendly and currently expanding department.

The Cardiothoracic Information & Technology team are looking for two highly motivated, pro-active individual’s to take on the role of Cardiac Data Reporting Analysts. They will provide high level reporting, take a steering role in designing departmental reports and liaising with the various software suppliers. The successful candidates will be responsible for producing reports using our departmental information system which is based on a Microsoft SQL Database.

The post-holders will be required to work flexibly across the department dealing with a diverse work load. They will be required to manage change in response to departmental needs and new policies, this may require the reformulation and adjustment of plans and strategies to ensure that the information evaluation and data reported remains fit for purpose. The balance of duties undertaken by the post holder will vary according to an ever-changing environment.

Applicants will be customer focused, flexible, motivated and pro-active with the ability to support the immediate team and wider directorate. This post will be both very challenging and interesting. Attention to detail is required.
NHS Experience is desired, but not essential as full training will be given.

This post reports to the Cardiothoracic Information Manager.
