Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre

The Musculoskeletal Service at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre is seeking an efficient and organized individual for the role of Digital Transcription Clerk/Admin Support as part of the Clinical Administration team. This role comprises the digital management of patient’s clinic letters, correspondence received from the GP and other Organizations by ensuring the information is accurately recorded on the hospital electronic systems.

This is a key role within the Service and would suit an efficient person with good analytical skills and the ability to prioritize their own workload. This person will be able to communicate effectively at differing levels of the organization, able to work independently as well as being part of the team.

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
