OxGEM (formerly Clinical Genetics) is looking for a highly motivated secretary to work alongside the secretarial team.

Based at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre in Oxford, this varied role will involve providing a comprehensive secretarial and administrative service to the Consultants and other staff within Clinical Genetics, and to ensure the efficient day-to-day running of the department.

You should be a good team player, who enjoys communicating with a wide range of people, be highly organised and have a flexible approach to work. The successful applicant will have a good general level of education and be able to deal with a busy environment. You will also need to demonstrate good organisational skills and have the ability to remain calm under pressure.

NHS experience would be advantageous, but full training in the hospital system will be given.
