An exciting opportunity has become available within the Critical Care, Anaesthetics, Pre-Operative Assessment, Pain and Resuscitation (CAPPR) Directorate for an inspirational, driven and motivated Service Manager for the Department of Anaesthetics and Critical Care.  This is a fixed term position to cover maternity leave until 1st June 2020.


In conjunction with the Clinical Leads, Nurse Leads and Directorate Operational Services Manager the post-holder will work with the Critical Care and Anaesthetic teams to ensure the efficient and effective day-to-day running of clinical services, deliver key quality and performance indicators, contribute to financial plans, and deliver key service improvements.  You will need to demonstrate excellent organisation, analytical and inter personal / communication skills.


This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop leadership and management skills, widen their portfolio of experience or to build on experience gained elsewhere.


Experience in all aspects of the role is not essential, although interested candidates will need to demonstrate a willingness to learn quickly and to seek out information to ensure they can execute the role to a high standard.
