BAND 3 ASSISTANT PATIENT PATHWAY ADMINISTRATOR

DERMATOLOGY, CHURCHILL HOSPITAL

 

FULL-TIME HOURS REQUIRED (37.5 HOURS)

 

 

The Dermatology Department based at the Churchill Hospital is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated individual to join our Appointment/Secretarial team.  Duties include predominately appointment work but may also include administration and secretarial work.  The role involves working on your own initiative as well as part of team, working alongside clinicians and fellow clerical staff.

 

The work is varied and challenging and contributes significantly to patient pathways. You may be required to use our Trust transcription service in processing clinic letters, make clinic appointments on the Trust EPR system, deal with enquiries and provide support to the secretarial team and cover for secretaries in the event of annual leave or sickness. Full ‘in house’ training will be given but previous NHS and EPR experience or working in a similar environment is desirable

 

You will be interacting with patients and their carers and, therefore, a professional and presentable manner is required.  Sound communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to follow instructions and willingness to learn.
