BAND 3 SENIOR OUTPATIENT CLERK/RECEPTIONIST
DERMATOLOGY, CHURCHILL HOSPITAL

FULL TIME HOURS REQUIRED (37.5)


The Dermatology Department based at the Churchill Hospital is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated individual/s to join our Outpatient team. Duties include administrative, clerical and reception work. The role involves working on your own initiative as well as part of team, working alongside clinicians and fellow clerical staff.

The work is varied and challenging and contributes significantly to patient pathways. You will be required to prepare medical notes for clinics, update computer systems (EPR), make clinic appointments, deal with enquiries, participate in reception duties, be responsible for email advice, support the day to day management of Dermatology Outpatients and organising and prioritise your own workload as well as others. This role is a senior position and previous experience of working in a similar department/job role is required.

You will be interacting with patients and their carers and, therefore, a professional and presentable manner is required. Sound communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to follow instructions and willingness to learn.
