Elective Access Services & Systems Supervisor

Following recent internal promotion, We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join the Elective Access Services and Systems team at the John Radcliffe Hospital (JR).  


Based at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford, this varied role will involve support with the smooth running of the OUH Trust Letter Production service, e-Referral GP telephone advice service and provide an efficient administrative service processing returned GP correspondence.


The successful post-holder will be integral to supporting the implementation of improvement projects which seek to improve the efficiency and speed which the Trust communicates with patients and referrers.


You should be a good team player, who enjoys communicating with a wide range of people, be highly organised and have a flexible approach to work.  The successful applicant will have a good general level of education and be able to deal with a very busy environment.  You will also need to demonstrate good organisational skills and have the ability to remain calm under pressure.


NHS experience would be advantageous, but full training in the hospital systems will be provided.  The post holder may also be required to cover other administration roles within other parts of the Operational Services directorate on rare occasions.
