Oxford University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust requires a highly motivated, reliable and flexible Estates Operational Manager to work as a key member of the Estates Management Team. You will have extensive knowledge of infrastructure services and suitable experience of working within a challenging environment.


The post holder will assist the Senior Operational Estates Manager to maintain delegated infrastructure services across three Trust Hospital sites. This post will also liaise with key Trust departments to ensure maintenance and repair works are delivered smoothly and with little or no effect on patient care services.


The post holder will have a full understanding of current legislation, and be responsible for ensuring compliance with Trust Policies, procedures.
The post holder should have a HNC/HND qualification in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering (Electrical Bias), with a good understanding of electrical HV/LV services and operation or hold a higher level qualification, and have sufficient time served experience to enable them to undertake the duties of the post.


The post holder will be appointed to Authorised Person’s roles in keeping with requirements laid down in Hospital Technical Memorandums (HTM) and Health and Safety documentation.


The post holder will be required to participate in the Management Emergency out of hours on-call rota.


Hours are 08.00am to 16.00pm Monday to Friday. 27 days annual leave plus public holidays.
