The Gynaecology department are looking to recruit a Pathway Administrator to provide a first class service to patients who will be accessing treatment at the Horton Hospital in Banbury. You will be responsible for allocating and booking dates for patients to undergo treatment following clinical instructions and ensuring that patients receive the best possible experience from the PA Team.

In conjunction with clinical teams and the other Pathway Administrators you will be required to: Book pre-operative appointments, Allocate dates for treatment or diagnostic tests, Record information on multiple systems, Validate waiting times data and provide secretarial support as well as other administrative duties

Due to the nature of the location and post we will require someone with prior Pathway Administrator or Elective Access experience, or experience in similar roles where you have had experience in some of the aspects of the role.

To undertake this varied and responsible role you will have excellent organisation skills, an ability to communicate; experience of working within the NHS environment; Knowledge of waiting list management is essential as is the ability to work accurately and to deadlines.
