Information Management and Technology Services (IM&T Services) provide support to Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust users as well as to a number of other Health organisations across Oxfordshire.  This involves supporting over 10,000 workstations and printers, circa 11,000 staff users of systems, and over 800 servers (over 75% virtual).  During 2018, IM&T Services responded to 135,000 calls and were involved in multiple projects.

Senior IT Support Analyst (Permanent)

Salary Scale: Band 6 (£30,401– £37,267) depending on qualifications and experience

Hours: 37.50 per week

Note: This post may be asked to contribute to the 24 hour ‘on-call’ commitment of IM&T Services

This post will operate within a customer focused team following ITIL best practices, and will be responsible for delivery of 2nd level user and system support covering corporately-supported technologies used within our customer organisations.

The post-holder will be a self-motivated and well-organised team player with a positive attitude, excellent interpersonal skills, and a methodical approach to tasks.  As a senior member of the team they will demonstrate a high level of technical knowledge and diagnostic skills, and have the ability to motivate and develop other team members.

Expert knowledge of Microsoft desktop products is essential, as is good working knowledge of Exchange, Active Directory, Network and mobile technologies.  Experience of the Microsoft Office 365 would also be an advantage.
