OUH NHS Foundation Trust, IM&T Services
delivering ICT services to the NHS in Oxfordshire

Information Management and Technology Services (IM&T Services) provide support to Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust users as well as to a number of other Health organisations across Oxfordshire. This involves supporting over 10,000 workstations and printers, circa 11,000 staff users of systems, and nearly 800 servers (over 75% virtual). During 2016, IM&T Services responded to 132,000 calls and were involved in multiple projects.

This post offers an exciting opportunity to join our Application Support Team within a busy NHS Foundation Trust. The successful applicant will play a significant role in providing operational support for users of the Electronic Patient Record (EPR), as well as delivering system related projects and developments within IM&T Services as part of the OUH Global Digital Exemplar Programme.
The OUH Global Digital Exemplar Programme will take the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust from being one of the most digitally advanced Trusts in the UK to one of the most digitally advanced Trusts in the world over the next two years. The Trust will be an exemplar to other Trusts and assist in their journey to digitally enable the best clinical models for patient safety and outcomes while freeing staff time to care. The OUH Global Digital Exemplar Programme is seeking enthusiastic, energetic, staff with strong values to accelerate delivery of the Programme.

Part of this role may involve providing resolution of service incidents and requests received by the Application Support Team via our IM&TS Service Desk. You may also be required to deliver training to end users and undertake testing of new developments and maintenance releases.
This challenging role offers a career development opportunity for an enthusiastic, organised and highly motivated individual with strong analytical and communication skills, knowledge of ICT and proven experience of providing support in a customer focused environment. Previous experience of working in a NHS or healthcare environment is desirable but not essential.
