The Maternity Ultrasound Department currently has a vacancy for a part time Administrative assistant/Receptionist 25.5hours per week with the opportunity to work on a Saturday morning also.

 

Would you like to join an already established team in providing an important service for our patients? You will primarily be working on the reception desk receiving patients, fielding phone calls, filing and making appointments.

 

To join our friendly and busy department you will need to demonstrate outstanding communication skills, be highly motivated and have empathy and the ability to deal with patients and all levels of staff. Enthusiasm, flexibility, initiative and a willingness to learn are essential. Up to date computer skills are vital and basic medical terminology would be advantageous but full training will be given.

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
