We are looking for a new Optometrist to join our dynamic Optometry team in the Oxford Eye hospital.

This is the perfect post for career progression in the hospital setting for those moving on from hospital pre reg or newly qualified from private practice. There is funding for further training towards qualifications in extended roles. Our extended roles include glaucoma, AMD, diabetes and eye casualty.

Core activities include paediatrics, medical contact lenses and low vision with opportunities to work towards extended roles. You will be working alongside experienced team members who can help mentor you in developing your skills in secondary care optometry. There can be opportunity to be involved in delivering optometric measures in clinical research trials- for those with an interest. We deliver electrophysiology and ultrasound within the team and opportunities arise for development in these areas.

Oxford it is a beautiful small city with excellent facilities to enjoy your free time. There is affordable accommodation available on site to aid any relocation.
