Consultant in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery with an interest in trauma surgery


An opportunity has arisen to apply for the substantive post of Consultant in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, based at the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust with sessions at the Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust. We are looking for an individual with an interest in trauma surgery. This is a replacement post.

The successful candidate would be joining a busy Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Department which provides services to patients in Oxfordshire and on-call services to the wider Thames Valley. Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is a dedicated Major Trauma Centre for the Thames Valley Trauma Network. The contract would be held in Oxford.

The successful candidate would be expected to be involved both general OMFS work and specialist deformity practice. They would be expected to join the 1 in 9 on-call rota.

You must be must have full GMC registration and be on or within 6 months of eligibility of inclusion on the specialist list in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

Salary: £77,913 to £105,042 pa
