Job Title: Registered Nurse - Band 5

Area of Work: Outpatient Department (Blue OPD) Level 2 John Radcliffe Hospital

Employer: Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust

Location: Oxford

WTE: 1 post -  37.5 hours per week x 1

Working pattern:

Shifts will vary on the days worked.   Department provides a service for outpatient clinics from 8am until 6pm, but there is a need to be flexible to provide nursing cover should the clinics overrun.

Currently no weekend, bank holidays or night duty shifts are required.

Post one: 37.5 hours (full time)

Days worked will vary each week: total 4 days worked per week.

8-6pm x 3 plus 8-5.30 pm x 1 per week with 30 minutes lunch break per day.

Outpatient clinics are held for a variety of specialities for adult’s services including: vascular, breast care, cardiothoracic, gastroenterology and colorectal, general surgery, infectious diseases, genetics and general medicine.

We are looking for an enthusiastic team member, who has either had previous experience or wishes to gain experience within this varied and interesting area of patient care. Previous experience is not essential as training will be provided.
