 OXFORD CENTRE FOR ENABLEMENT

Band 6 Physiotherapist in Neurorehabilitation

 

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic physiotherapist with a desire to progress their career in neurological rehabilitation.

 

The Oxford Centre for Enablement (OCE) is a level 1A neurorehabilitation and disability management Centre which has a long held reputation for clinical excellence in this field. The physiotherapy team at OCE work within the multidisciplinary team to provide a high standard of neurorehabilitation in a variety of clinical settings including inpatients, outpatients, day hospital setting and specialist clinics.

This post is a static position within the inpatient rehabilitation team, but you would be expected to contribute to other services as required.

 

This is a very supportive clinical environment and the post holder can expect to develop their existing neurophysiotherapy knowledge and skills within a well-established and experienced team. There will be opportunities to develop skills in specialist areas such as spasticity management, splinting, electrical stimulation and hydrotherapy. As a static member of staff there will be opportunities to contribute to service development projects and supervise more junior team members.
