We have many specialties in the children’s hospital – General surgery and orthopaedics (Tom’s Ward), Neurosciences, Plastics and Cranofacial (Robin’s Ward), Children’s Ambulatory Care, Adolescent Ward covering all specialities (Melanie’s Ward), Haematology and Oncology (Kamran’s ward), General Medical, Gastro, Cardiac and Respiratory (Bellhouse Drayson), Paediatric Clinical Decision Unit and Critical Care


The children’s services in Oxford are based on the John Radcliffe and Horton Hospital sites.  The majority housed within the new Children’s Hospital.  Since the opening of the Children’s Hospital our teams have been evolving rapidly. 


We offer a rotational programme with the Children’s Hospital and permanent ward jobs for newly qualified nurses


We are holding the open day on the 11th December 2018 from 10am-2pm in our Children’s Hospital so why don’t you come along and speak to us about a career in Oxford.  If you are interested then there is the opportunity to have an interview on the same day.
