Outpatient Physiotherapist

Band 5 – Fixed Term 1 year

An exciting opportunity has arisen to come and work at an internationally recognised specialist orthopaedic hospital with a world renowned research centre and the only independent physiotherapy research department in an NHS hospital.

What we can offer you:  

The job is within the very dynamic and friendly outpatient physiotherapy department.  We are a large supportive, highly motivated and sociable team.   We are keen to help you develop whilst this role by offering you teaching and research opportunities and lively debate.  

You will be well supported by experienced clinical specialists, researchers, and we have close links with approachable supportive surgeons and MDT.   We encourage a cross fertilisation of ideas, clinical research and a thirst for knowledge with forward thinking evidence based practice

Being based in the city of Oxford means we are easy to reach and have excellent access to London and the countryside.

What we are looking for:

A physiotherapist with the ability to work with a high degree of professional autonomy.   You will be competent and have experience in the management of patients relevant to this role.

The role would involve providing musculoskeletal assessment, management and treatment for patients within outpatients, and hydrotherapy.  High standards of care are expected. 

You will have a minimum of 2 years postgraduate experience, and ideally 1 years musculoskeletal experience.
