Hand  Physiotherapist or Occupational

Band 6  - Full time

We are looking for a Hand Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist to join our Outpatient Team, in this Specialist Orthopaedic Trust. You will work alongside experienced Hand therapists and Hand Consultants who specialise in Orthopaedics, Plastics and Trauma.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated and experienced physiotherapist or occupational therapist with the ability to work with a high degree of professional autonomy. The candidate will be able to demonstrate an advanced level of physiotherapy skills and expertise specific to this speciality.

The outpatient physiotherapy service is a well-established, friendly, highly motivated and enthusiastic team, led by experienced clinical specialists. Within the physiotherapy department you will form part of a large team of specialist musculoskeletal physiotherapists.

Your role will involve working as part of the Outpatient Hand Therapy Team providing musculoskeletal assessment, management and treatment for patients referred to the outpatient physiotherapy and hand therapy departments.

This will include working within Hand Therapy and  Hand Therapy Clinics which are held across the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust sites. To assist and support senior staff in the management of the Hand Therapy Service. To ensure high standards of care are maintained and developed.

You will have a minimum of 3 years’ postgraduate experience of which hand therapy is essential.
