An exciting opportunity has arisen to join this band 6 physiotherapy neurosciences rotation at the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust. This role involves 8 month rotations   including Acute Stroke Unit (JR), Neurosciences (JR), Neuro-Rehabilitation (OCE), Continue Disability Management Service (OCE), Early Supported Discharge Service for Stroke (Oxford).

We are looking for a physiotherapist with knowledge and skill to work with neurologically impaired patients. The successful candidate will be excellent at delivering high quality care in a variety of settings as part of a multi-disciplinary team. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a thirst to learn and share knowledge with the therapy and wider MDT.

As a team, here in Oxford we are dedicated to providing training and education on a regular basis. You will receive regular supervision, CPD hours, in-service training, peer support group training and other teaching opportunities led by therapists, doctors and university lecturers to further develop your skills. Our team here at OUH consists of Clinical Specialists, Band 7 and Band 6 therapists supporting you to gain relevant experience in acute care, rehabilitation and discharge planning of the neurologically impaired patient. As a team passionate about the importance of early rehabilitation we aim to improve our patient’s outcomes by enhancing their neurological recovery process at the earliest opportunity.
