Receipt & Distribution Operative

Band 2 £ 17,460 to £19,337

Full-time post (37½ hours per week)


The Operational team based at the John Radcliffe Hospital requires a Receipt & Distribution operative.

Do you like meeting people, do you have a cheerful, unflappable disposition, are you able to work using your own initiative?  Then perhaps you would like to work as part of our busy Receipt & Distribution team. You will be responsible for Receipting and delivering goods for ward / departments.

Good inter personal, dexterity and numeracy skills are essential and computer literacy would be an advantage, although full training will be given with the possibility of adult apprenticeships.


A pleasant, courteous approach is essential, both on the telephone and face-to-face as interaction with staff at all levels is essential to this role.


You will be of smart appearance and will be required to wear the uniform provided.
