Interventional Radiology is a rapidly expanding, dynamic specialty in the Trust, which involves working as part of a multi-disciplinary team of Nurses, Radiographers and Radiologists delivering a high standard of care.

The unique and varied nature of the specialty means that there is always something new and interesting to learn. This post comprises of a variety of roles within the pre, peri and post care of patients undergoing Interventional Radiology Procedures, which also includes sedation, scrubbing to assist in interventional procedures and the recovery of patients.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and dedicated nurse with excellent communication skills who will provide high standards of patient centered care. Radiology experience is desirable, but not essential. You will be fully supported during your first 6 months with mentorship and a competency training package.


Our Radiology Day Case Unit is open Monday-Friday. 0800 -1700.

You will rotate between Interventional and the Day Case Unit during the working week.

On call commitments are 1 weekend every 4 to 6 weeks.
