Band 5 Staff Nurse £23,023 - £29,608 per annum (plus supplements if required to work unsocial hours or weekends) 

The Oxford Centre for Enablement is part of the Medicine, Rehabilitation and Cardiology Division; this is part of the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust. 

The Oxford Centre for Enablement has both in-patient facilities and out-patient services for people with complex neurological disability. This is a developing service and we are looking for staff with drive and enthusiasm who wish to provide high quality care to individuals in this setting.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for highly motivated, dynamic and inspirational Registered Nurses to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to develop their clinical, leadership and management skills: we are looking nurses with experience in acute medicine or in rehabilitation/disability or neurosciences. We are looking for a motivated nurse with vision who wants to help develop rehabilitation. 

You would need a strong belief in providing the best patient centered care possible and be passionate about delivering high quality, holistic, effective, safe, and excellent care and strive to continually make improvements. 

We are looking for staff with excellent communication skills and an interest for working with individuals with disabilities.
If you are newly qualified, about to qualify or a learning disability nurse we will support and mentor you to become a skilled nurse in this area.

We can help you develop your clinical /leadership skills, your neurological and rehabilitation skills and support any other courses relevant to the role of staff nurse in this area.

You will need to have:

 An organised and methodical approach to work
 Ability to be flexible
 Able to work shift patterns
 Ability to work within a team but also use your own initiative
 A desire to provide high quality individualised/holistic care to individuals with disabilities

This is not an orthopaedic post; experience working within the NHS is desirable but not essential. Previous applicants need not apply.
