An exciting opportunity has arisen at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (OUH) for a Research & Development (R&D) Administration Assistant to support the large and diverse portfolio of clinical research carried out at the Trust. Working closely with the R&D Projects Officer, this new role will provide general administrative support to the OUH R&D teams - including the contracts, finance and governance teams. By working closely with the R&D teams, the postholder will gain unique insights into all key activities that underpin the large and diverse portfolio of clinical research undertaken at OUH, and the crucial partnership with the University of Oxford.

The successful candidate will be educated to A level or equivalent (or have equivalent experience), and have a good record of administrative performance. They must be an effective team worker with excellent planning, organisational and communication skills, including the use of relevant Microsoft software.

The R&D  Administration Assistant’s main base will be with the Trust’s R&D teams at offices in Cowley, but occasional travel to the other sites in Headington will be required. The position is available full or part-time (0.6 – 1.0 FTE), for 22 months initially.
